It’s not a secret that XBEL file format has no established icon. Generally, there’s just no normal icon available at all.
So we decided to implement our own design and we encourage all software developers who work with XBEL to use it.
I downloaded and successfully installed latest Windows Vista build 5384 from 16.05.2006 (on VMWare).
Of course I was interested in one thing - will “Bookmark Base” work on that OS or not. I’m lucky so I was really impressed how nice the application looks like. It even imported bookmarks from MS Internet Explorer 7 without a glitch.
So, I’m sure we will have a “Vista ready” certified logo on our site soon.
